The objective of this project brief is to explore and familiarise yourself with the connection between

materials, processes and ideas and how those ideas manifest through process and materiality, in particular – scale, time, space and presentation. The brief is illustrated through a combination of contemporary artists as well as historical works and references with the occasional off-site visit. Trimester one works toward the development of a studio resolution through the exploration of materiality, process, space, time and objects as embodiments of ideas.
